Cactus Sport & Spine, P.C. is open for appointments Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday appointments and weekly before and after normal business hours may be available for special scheduling needs. Please contact our office to inquire about scheduling.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Cactus Sport & Spine provides one on one Physical Therapy with only a licensed P.T. Each appointment ranges from ~ 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your needs for treatment. The session includes manual therapy (soft tissue and joint mobilization), body mechanic evaluation and education with exercise/activities related to help gain strength and motion specific to each individual to achieve maximum function. Traction and Modalities may be used as appropriate which include moist heat, cold packs/ice massage, ultrasound, and electric modalities (TENS, Electric Stimulation, Interferential, Hi-volt, and Iontophosis).

Each person will receive a specific home exercise program designed by the therapist specifically for the patient to ensure long term results are achieved. The combination of education and exercise assist in achieving results for the future. The key to success is helping you understand the problem so you are active in the process and have an understanding of what needs to be done to avoid chronic conditions or repetitive injuries.

MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage therapy is provided in ½ hour, 1 hour or 1 ½ hour intervals. A variety of techniques are provided. Please contact our office for hours of availability and prices. Contact Jodi Holmes regarding details or questions.

PILATES
Pilates based exercise emphasizes the mind-body connection by focusing on the whole body, beginning from the "powerhouse" core muscles and working outward. This exercise and education concentrates on regaining desired functional movement patterns. Individuals gain body awareness and learn proper alignment which carries over to daily activities.

Cactus Sport & Spine offers one-on-one private session using the allegro (reformer), tower of power (trapeze), combo chair, spine corrector and pilates ring with certified instructors. We also offer Mat Class with the use of gymballs, theraband, plyoballs and foam rollers for beginner to intermediate levels. Commonly the class is a great transition for post-rehabilitation guidance to independent exercise. This class is taught by Kim Bozich, PT so each individual's needs can be met with movement or position modification throughout the class.

Pilates is provided in one-on-one sessions for Mat or on the Alegro Reformer. Mat classes are provided Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Contact Jodi Holmes or Kim Bozich for details.
